• The three-finger salute (Serbian: три пpcтa or tri prsta) is a salute with the thumb, index, and middle fingers open used by some Serbs.

• Scout sign and salute - the salute of the World Scouting Movement

In his book, Scouting for Boys, Robert Baden-Powell chose the three-finger salute for Scouts to represent the three aspects of the Scout Promise:

3. Obey the Scout Law
